Daddy Caddy
Celebrating Fatherhood, Fairways, and the FUTURE.
Golf has a way of bringing people together—and for many pros and recreational players alike, it all started as a kid. The Daddy Caddy golf outing is a chance for families to create those same lifelong memories, introducing the next generation to one of our nation’s greatest pastimes.
This special event pairs fathers (or father figures) with their children for a day of fun, learning, and bonding on the course. Whether your child is just picking up a club or already showing promise, this is the perfect setting to share the game and its many gifts—discipline, patience, confidence, and community.
Some kids will go on to play competitively, others will carry golf as a powerful social and professional tool—but they’ll all remember who introduced them to the game.
*Ages 3 to 16 years old (Grouped by skill level and age group)
Each registration includes:
Tee time for one (1) child (up to 9 holes)
Lunch for both child and adult
30-minute intro-to-golf session
Commemorative Daddy Caddy t-shirt (Child only)
SGA Scramble and Networking Brunch
This tournament will feature all that you would expect from a scramble golf tournament with a streamlined format of a 9-hole competition, including in-round competitions and player gifts, as well as the new addition of a post-round networking brunch. Much like last year, the event will include a DJ station, an honorary tee-start to kick the event off, live scoring and fun challenges throughout the round. And, as we like to party with a purpose in D.C., a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation to support scholarships, fellowships, and internships. We look forward to welcoming a diverse class of players from across the political and professional spectrum, different parts of the DMV, and range of golfing ability from those who come for the golf and those who stay for the vibes.

SGA Holiday Onesie Party
SGA looks forward to closing out the year with friends in the only way we know how, a onesie party. You heard that right folks. Bring out your best holiday onesie and your golf game if you so choose for a night of fun, drinks, music and golf. This event will feature a 9-hole scramble simulator golf tournament with prizes awarded to the winners. But the bar is open all night for those who want to come just for the vibes, socialize, and enjoy what will no doubt be a great SGA Holiday party.
Bring an unused/unopened toy for the Toys-for-Tots drive and receive a complimentary drink, and bring a friend and introduce them to the Social Golf Association community. I’m sure they will thank you for it later.

2024 SGA Cup
Introducing the Second Annual SGA Cup, an event poised to elevate the competitive spirit and camaraderie that define the sport of golf. This year, we are thrilled to expand the tournament from a one-day clash to a prestigious two-day Ryder Cup-style event on November 16-17.
Building on the success of last year's battle at Bulle Rock Golf Course, where 16 golfers from across the DMV showcased their skills in an intense 8 versus 8 Stableford format, the SGA Cup returns with even greater stakes. In last year's SGA Cup, Team Hunter emerged victorious over Team Ivory. This year's expanded format will give Team Ivory a chance to bounce back and reclaim their honor in what promises to be an even more intense competition.
The SGA Cup is more than just a tournament; it’s a celebration of excellence, fellowship, and the enduring spirit of competition. With the tone and atmosphere akin to a PGA Tour major event, the stage is set for an unforgettable showdown. Prepare to witness two days of unparalleled golf, where every swing, putt, and drive will be a testament to the dedication and passion that these athletes bring to the course.
Join us as we crown the champions of the 2024 SGA Cup and etch their names into the annals of golf history. This is not just a tournament; it’s a tradition in the making.

In partnership with First Tee of Greater Washington, DC, we aim to promote youth development and community engagement through golf and will be accepting golf items to donate their cause.
