💥 Why Play?
The Cup is built for pressure players.
Scramble, fourball, singles — the formats change, but the stakes never drop. One clutch birdie can flip a match. One cold streak can turn the tide.
At the end, one team hoists the trophy and claims the bragging rights. Everyone else goes home with excuses.

SGA Scramble and Networking Brunch Presented by General Motors
Presented by General Motors, this year’s tournament packs all the excitement you expect from a scramble — with our own D.C. twist. We’re streamlining play into a fast-paced 9-hole competition featuring in-round contests, player gifts, and the brand-new addition of a post-round networking brunch hosted by Proximo Spirits, complete with a premium Grand Coramino activation.
Special guests include Congressman Troy Carter, Congressman Andre Carson, and Congressman Cleo Fields, joining us to celebrate community, culture, and the game we love.
Just like last year, we’re bringing the vibes with a live DJ, an honorary tee start to set the tone, live scoring, and fun challenges throughout the round. And because we believe in partying with a purpose, a portion of the proceeds — delivered through our Fairway Fund — will benefit the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, supporting scholarships, fellowships, and internships.
We’re excited to welcome a diverse mix of players from across the political and professional spectrum, representing every corner of the DMV, and ranging from serious golfers to those who come for the game but stay for the vibes.
Daddy Caddy
Celebrating Fatherhood, Fairways, and the FUTURE.
Golf has a way of bringing people together—and for many pros and recreational players alike, it all started as a kid. The Daddy Caddy golf outing is a chance for families to create those same lifelong memories, introducing the next generation to one of our nation’s greatest pastimes.
This special event pairs fathers (or father figures) with their children for a day of fun, learning, and bonding on the course. Whether your child is just picking up a club or already showing promise, this is the perfect setting to share the game and its many gifts—discipline, patience, confidence, and community.
Some kids will go on to play competitively, others will carry golf as a powerful social and professional tool—but they’ll all remember who introduced them to the game.
*Ages 3 to 16 years old (Grouped by skill level and age group)
Each registration includes:
Tee time for one (1) child (up to 9 holes)
Lunch for both child and adult
30-minute intro-to-golf session
Commemorative Daddy Caddy t-shirt (Child only)

Bring an unused/unopened toy for the Toys-for-Tots drive and receive a complimentary drink, and bring a friend and introduce them to the Social Golf Association community. I’m sure they will thank you for it later.
2024 SGA Cup
Introducing the Second Annual SGA Cup, an event poised to elevate the competitive spirit and camaraderie that define the sport of golf. This year, we are thrilled to expand the tournament from a one-day clash to a prestigious two-day Ryder Cup-style event on November 16-17.
Building on the success of last year's battle at Bulle Rock Golf Course, where 16 golfers from across the DMV showcased their skills in an intense 8 versus 8 Stableford format, the SGA Cup returns with even greater stakes. In last year's SGA Cup, Team Hunter emerged victorious over Team Ivory. This year's expanded format will give Team Ivory a chance to bounce back and reclaim their honor in what promises to be an even more intense competition.
The SGA Cup is more than just a tournament; it’s a celebration of excellence, fellowship, and the enduring spirit of competition. With the tone and atmosphere akin to a PGA Tour major event, the stage is set for an unforgettable showdown. Prepare to witness two days of unparalleled golf, where every swing, putt, and drive will be a testament to the dedication and passion that these athletes bring to the course.
Join us as we crown the champions of the 2024 SGA Cup and etch their names into the annals of golf history. This is not just a tournament; it’s a tradition in the making.

Enjoy a fun scramble format, with closest-to-the-pin and longest drive competitions. Proceeds will support the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's mission to advance the global Black community. In partnership with First Tee of Greater Washington, DC, we aim to promote youth development and community engagement through golf and will be accepting golf items to donate their cause.
