Range Night™: How Social Golf Association Is Using Golf to Preserve the Culture of DC
On September 24, 2026, Social Golf Association brought Range Night™ to Langston Golf Course for a night that was about much more than golf.
It was about Washington, DC.
In partnership with the Long Live GoGo Foundation, SGA presented Range Night™: Moe Open Edition, bringing golf and Go-Go together at one of the city's most historic golf courses.
For Social Golf Association, that matters.
We are a DC-based organization. This city is part of who we are, and our work is rooted in creating spaces where people can experience golf in ways that feel authentic to the communities we serve. This time, we wanted to do something bigger.
We wanted to put golf in conversation with one of the most unmistakable expressions of DC culture: Go-Go.
Handicaps, Demystified: Why You Don't Need to Be Good to Compete
There's a version of golf most people picture when they hear "golf club." Someone shoots 78, someone else shoots 79, and the guy who shoots 78 wins. If you're breaking 110 on a good day, that picture tells you there's no reason to show up.
That picture is wrong, and the handicap system is why.
RANGE NIGHT: Come for the Golf. Stay for the Vibes.
Social Golf Association produces and hosts RANGE NIGHT™ events from April through November, on Thursday nights at historic Langston Golf Course in Washington,DC. Thousands of golfers have attended. Participants travel in from as far as Charlotte and Philadelphia. That's not a typo — they make the trip.
