RANGE NIGHT: Come for the Golf. Stay for the Vibes.

Two seasons in, the RANGE NIGHT™ golf event series from Social Golf Association (SGA) has become the most talked-about night in golf across the DMV.

Social Golf Association produces and hosts RANGE NIGHT™ events from April through November, on Thursday nights at historic Langston Golf Course in Washington,DC. Thousands of golfers have attended. Participants travel in from as far as Charlotte and Philadelphia. That's not a typo — they make the trip.

Here's what makes the RANGE NIGHT™ experience work: there is no bar to clear.

We've welcomed participants who have never held a club, alongside lifelong golfers who've been playing since they were kids. Teenagers and people in their sixties, on the same line of mats. Nobody is being evaluated. Nobody is keeping score on you.

And some people attend and don't hit a single ball. They came for the vibes. That's a completely legitimate way to experience RANGE NIGHT™, and we mean it. Our slogan is COME FOR THE GOLF. STAY FOR THE VIBES.™ — but sometimes it's just the vibes, and that's fine too.

Why Social Golf Association built the RANGE NIGHT™ series this way

Golf has a reputation problem. It reads as expensive, exclusive, and full of unwritten rules you're expected to already know. A lot of people who'd love the game never get near it because the entry point feels like a test.

A driving range solves most of that. There's no tee time, no pace-of-play pressure, no group of strangers watching you shank one. You get a bucket and a bay. You can be terrible for an hour and it costs you nothing but the bucket.

Put good people around that, and something else happens. The community showed up on its own. People who met at a RANGE NIGHT™ event now play rounds together. They text each other. They show up to each other's stuff. That wasn't in the plan — that's just what happens when you make a space where people can actually belong.

It feels like home. That's the part we're proudest of, and it's the part that's hardest to explain until you're standing in it.
